This is the most simple method of cremation, without viewing, rites or ceremony at the funeral home.
You have the option to have a memorial service at any time you desire or no service at all.
The following items are included in our Direct Cremation package:
We provide staff all day, every day to respond to the initial report of death.
We provide refrigeration in lieu of embalming prior to the cremation.
The Social Security Administration is notified of the death when we file the death certificate. It is your responsibility to follow up with Social Security to ensure that benefits are uninterrupted.
We obtain the cremation permit and an "Authority to Cremate" letter if required.
We provide the Crematory fee for a deceased that weighs up to 325 pounds. (if the deceased weighs between 326 and 500 pounds add $150)
We provide transportation to the crematory.
Cremated remains will be returned to you in a temporary container constructed of plastic. This container measures 8 1/4" high, 6 3/8" wide and 4 1/4" deep.
We will, upon request, place a death notice (unpaid) in the newspaper(s) of your choice, and an obituary on our website with a photo at no charge.

Travis County Cremation Permit Fee $25.00 (only applies if the death occurred in Travis County)
Urns: full size urn prices start at $75, keepsake urn prices start at $30.
Full obituaries (paid) in the newspaper(s) of your choice.
